Apply for a 2022 summer law clerkship with the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area (LCCRSF).
LCCRSF is committed to dismantling systems of oppression and racism, and building an equitable and just society. We use direct services, impact litigation, and policy advocacy to protect and advance the rights of communities of color, immigrants, and refugees.
Students interested in movement lawyering may be especially interested in applying to intern with our Racial Justice Team, which works to ensure that Black, Indigenous, and people of color have the opportunity to enjoy full, joyful, complete lives without interruption from the state or its legacy of oppressive violence. We are specifically seeking law clerks to advance our work against racist policing and the criminalization of poverty. In each of our focus areas, we work within coalitions to transform systems through impact litigation, direct services, and legislative advocacy.
If you’re interested, apply here. And if you’d like to know more, feel free to contact Rio Scharf (HLS class of 2020) at rscharf@lccrsf.org.
