In the spring of 2014, Jon Hanson surveyed students registered for his corporations class, before the semester began, to get a sense of how they felt about the most pressing policy problems, whether they were being addressed or would be addressed in the foreseeable future. The results of that survey are posted below.
The first question asked them to name the problems that they considered most in need of a solution. Their answers were summarized in following “wordle,” in which the size of each item reflects the number of students who listed it.
The second question asked about how “urgent” they considered those problem to be.
